Section 01 · Platform

One platform.
Every mission.

The MCPTT platform unifies LTE, P25, DMR, analog, telephony, and dispatch into a single operational fabric. The USA answer to MCX, hardened for American public safety, licensed under Unified Public Safety Network, PBC, and operated jointly with Echo911 and the Coosada 911 Communications District.

01 / Core

3GPP MCX Compliant Core

Full MCPTT, MCData, and MCVideo stack aligned to 3GPP Release 17. End-to-end encryption, FIPS 140-3 cryptography, and CJIS-ready audit trails baked in from the first packet.

02 / Latency

Sub-50ms Key-Up

Regionalized floor control with carrier-priority access ensures key-up times that meet or beat conventional LMR. QoS across FirstNet and commercial carriers alike.

03 / Coverage

UrgentPath™ Multi-Carrier Core

All radio connectivity is managed by MCPTT itself using UrgentPath technology across every major U.S. carrier — FirstNet, Verizon, T-Mobile — plus 80+ regional partners including SouthernLINC, C-Spire, US Cellular, and Alaska Telecom.

04 / Interop

P25 · DMR · Analog Bridges

CSSI and ISSI gateways for P25 Phase 1/2 systems. Native DMR tier-II/III bridging. VHF/UHF analog donor radios. Keep the radios you have; talk to everyone anyway.

05 / Dispatch

Dispatcher Consoles, Any Seat

Web-based console from a browser, full PC console for the EOC, C-Soft and Telex iGateway integrations for existing dispatch furniture. No seat left unpatched.

06 / Intel

GPS, Geofencing, OTA

Live AVL, per-unit location history, geofenced talkgroups, emergency alerts, and over-the-air config, firmware, and codeplug management, from one pane of glass.

Radios that
earn their place
on the belt.

Rugged MCPTT handhelds, mobile units, and professional business radios, procurement-ready through Unified Public Safety Network, PBC. GSA-style pricing, multi-year warranty, and U.S.-based provisioning and repair.

Section 03 · Deployment

Choose your
deployment
posture.

Three deployment models. Identical feature parity across every tier, so you can start in our cloud and migrate later without retraining a single dispatcher. Most agencies start with MCPTT Gov-Cloud — our turnkey, U.S.-hosted, CJIS-compliant platform, ready in under 24 hours.

Tier B

Private Gov-Cloud

For agencies with existing cloud contracts or stricter tenancy requirements: we deploy a dedicated MCPTT instance into your AWS GovCloud or Microsoft Azure Government tenant. You own the cloud account. We own the platform. Everyone goes home happy.
  • AWS GovCloud or Azure Government
  • Dedicated single-tenant instance
  • Customer-owned cloud account
  • CJIS, FedRAMP High alignable
  • Full MCPTT feature parity
  • Managed by MCPTT 24/7

Tier C

On-Premise

A rack-mounted MCPTT hardware appliance server shipped to your facility, tactical trailer, or EOC. Full MCPTT core running inside your network with zero outside dependencies. Optional MCPTT Gov-Cloud failover keeps the talkgroup live if your data center or local infrastructure goes down.
  • MCPTT hardware appliance
  • Air-gap & tactical ready
  • Optional MCPTT Cloud failover*
  • Local admin, audit & logging
  • COOP / continuity mode

How they compare

Same MCPTT platform, same feature parity, three different economics. What actually differs: who owns the infrastructure, how much it costs, how fast you're on the air, and whose uptime record you're betting on.

The most affordable path. Hosted in our own U.S. data centers with a documented 100% uptime record over the past three years. Nothing to buy, nothing to rack, nothing to patch on a Saturday night — and you're on the air the same day the paperwork clears.

Deployed into your existing AWS GovCloud or Azure Government tenant. Slightly higher cost, and uptime is capped by the cloud vendor's reliability — both AWS GovCloud and Azure Government have had documented outages that put them below 100%. You inherit their SLA ceiling, not ours.

The most expensive option. Hardware, power, cooling, service contracts, and spares — all yours. Uptime depends entirely on your local environment, and in practice on-prem environments rarely hit 100%. Add our MCPTT Cloud Failover to automatically keep talkgroups live when your data center, power, or backhaul goes down.

Best ForSCIFs, tactical deployments, expeditionary ops, and agencies with policy requirements that prohibit any outbound cloud dependency.

* Based on public cloud-vendor incident reports.  † Cloud Failover is an additional option and fee for on-premise deployments.

Section 04 · Interoperability

Talk to
everything.
Literally.

MCPTT interoperability connects mission critical push-to-talk users across LMR and LTE, bridging teams that would otherwise operate in silos. The result is broader coordination, faster response, and fewer barriers between agencies when it matters most. Every legacy system you already paid for gets a seat on the same talkgroup.

IO · 01

Section 05 · Dispatch

Dispatch from the EOC, the passenger seat, or the kitchen table. Web, PC, Android, and iOS clients share the same talkgroup state, the same audit log, and the same millisecond of floor control.

Dispatcher Console

Section 05B · Satellite

When the tower
goes dark,
we go up.

The PS35 Public Safety Radio supports an optional satellite add-on that acts as a secondary connection when terrestrial networks are degraded, congested, or unavailable. Hurricanes, wildfires, remote operations, back-country search and rescue: if the cell site is down, MCPTT keeps the talkgroup up.

* Additional option and monthly service fee required for satellite connection.
